Referring to my Confidential Despatch of the 21st Jamary last and previous correspondence on the subject of enemy owned trade marks, I have the honour to forward for your con- -sideration a report of the proceedings of the Legislative Council upon a motion brought forward on the 13th July by Mr. P. E.Holyoak the Member representing the Chamber of Commerce.

2. I attach also copies of questions put by Mr.Holyoak at the meeting of the 22nd June and of the replies thereto; and copies of subsequent correspondence with the Chamber of Commerce.
